Wandering Merchant
Features
- The Wandering Merchant is a new NPC that offers special items and interesting bargains in exchange of Valyrian Coins (and also gold sometimes)
- This Merchant can appear in a variety of maps located in Act 5.1 (Desert) in channel 1. Once it’s appeared, it’ll roam around the map for 10 minutes and them teleport into another randomly chosen one. One minute before this happens, the player’s shop will be closed. Thirty seconds before all players inside the map will be notified about the merchant leaving. He also has a text bubble above his head indicating the amount of time remaining for the shop to close.
- This merchant offers common items at a lower price and some others that are exclusive, but there’s one condition: the stock is limited and it gets refreshed after a certain amount of time (depending on the item).
- There are two stock limitations; account limited and server limited. If a player tries to craft an item that is no longer in stock, the following message will be sent: “There is no stock left for this item”
- Then there are also two types of items, some that will always appear in the shop and some special items that will only can randomly appear in the shop every time the merchant teleports to another map with the possibility of more than 1 special item per day.
- When a shop with a special item appears, a shout will be sent out to all channels that this special shop has appeared, which players will have to go and search for it to craft the item.
- As soon as it is crafted, this item can no longer be crafted in the special shop, but if this same item appears again on the same day in another teleport of the merchant, it can be crafted again.
- People who have already created an object will not be able to create them again, with a delay of X hours/days, depending on the object as explained below.
